High temperature mechanical properties of 40KhNMA, 30KhGSA, 50KhFA, 38KhMYuA and 18Kh2N4VA structural steels, treated with synthetic slags in ladle
Results of hot torsion and tensile tests showed that these steels are more ductile at temperatures between 450 and 1250 C than standard steels of same grades, and that their plastic properties are less anisotropic; steels treated with synthetic slags are more suitable for no pressure treatment technologies, also easier to weld and cast, etc. (See also English translation in Stal in English n 12 Dec 1968 p 1061-4) (26842)
