Push-tractor 47 ft long, 15 1/2 ft wide and 17 ft high being used in construction of Milford Dam, large earth fill structure being built in Kansas, has infinite speed range from standing to 18 mph (maximum torque at 2 mph); tractor is powered by General Motors 16-278A diesel 1600 hp engine through 1400 kw d-c generator, has double articulated 4-wheel hydraulic steering and electric dynamic braking.
