Huge aluminium culverts can be handled manually
Aluminum culverts installed on Laguna Indian Reservation of New Mexico measure 96 in. in diam, but are so light weight that it was possible to install them by hand without use of heavy equipment; culverts were prefabricated from 156 in. long, 8-gage corrugated culvert sheet riveted together with aluminum rivets to form barrel; 4 culverts were laid side by side to replace old wooden bridge, and fifth is single structure under new road.
