Glulam bowstring truss solves concrete arch bridges problem
Truss supports formwork for concrete arch bridge to span 140 ft gap caused by rock and earth slides; concrete is delivered at either end of work site; laminated timber arches were used to support concrete pours; steep slope, coupled with unstable material on floor of gap made normal shoring impossible.
