Accelerated test for Portland cement concretes
Tests carried out at University of London, on variety of mixes, in which sand and aggregate were varied in grading and proportions, water: cement ratio was varied to give concretes varying from too wet to too dry, and numerous different Portland cements were used; as result of tests it has been found possible to predict 7 and 28 day strength of concrete cured in normal way at 20 C under fully humid conditions.
