Prestretched reinforcing bars show high strength in university of Iowa tests
Tests intended to determine effect of prestretching ordinary commercial reinforcing using prestretched bars for reinforcement in set of beams, and then comparing results with those obtained from beams of same size in which similar unstretched bars were used.
