Development of reinforced concrete tubbing joints for tunnel construction
Synthetic resin compounds used for joint sealing were tested between dry and moist surfaces for setting time and imperviousness; effect of electric heating on setting time was investigated; tests were also made on various sealing groove shapes and sizes as well as on sealing methods for bolts which join tubbing sections.
