Ribless folded plates
Analytical solution for interior panel of multiple span, multiple bay, ribless prismatic shell is presented; load is assumed to be applied to panel with continuous supports along longitudinal edges; vertical reaction along assumed continuous supports is transferred to columns by application of corrective edge line load along longitudinal edges of panel; special cases of dead load and uniform live load are treated in detail; effects of different shell parameters on stress resultants and displacements were studied.
