Record-height prefabs for fast concrete tank forming
Digester walls up to 38 ft high, were built at Point Loma, Calif, as part of new San Diego Metropolitan sewage treatment system; to pour circular walls, prefabricated steel-ply forms were used for 3 125-ft diam digesters; inside forms were erected and ganged sections, after first pour, were handled as units for succeeding pours.
