Waterproofing shell roof with aluminium foil
Experiences with use of aluminum foil on doubly curved concrete shell roof of warehouse at Roorkee; thickness of shell was 2 in. at crown increasing to 3 1/2 in. at edge beams; foil was applied on heated plastic glue coating and carefully pressed-on to exclude air bubbles.
