Influence of recovery temperature on ductility of recovered asphalt
Asphalts refined from crudes dissolved in benzol and recovered by Bussow method, using asphalt temperatures of 250 and 300 C; penetration, ductility, softening point, loss on heating, and penetration after loss on heating compared with original asphalt; asphalts range from 15 to 100 cm in ductility and yield conclusive data on effect of maximum recovery temperature on ductility of recovered asphalt.
