Report covers one of considerable series of investigations of underground water for municipal supply made during past few years by Idaho Bur. of Mines and Geology; permanence and freedom from contamination of underground water, whether strictly artesian or not, is leading many cities in Idaho to look to this source for potable water; in general it may be said that by careful analysis of surrounding geologic and topographic conditions probability or improbability of adequate underground water supply can be ascertained with considerable certainty.
