Sealing joint between concrete slab and bituminous shoulder
Experimental project at Michigan State Highway Dept, to establish longitudinal joint which would be watertight and at same time allow independent movement of bituminous aggregate shoulder and concrete pavement is described; project was to include two different widths of joints, one joint 1/8 in. wide by 3/4 in. deep, and one joint 1/4 in. wide by 3/4 in. deep.
