A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Study was made to determine types of rollers and positions they should occupy in rolling sequence to obtain highest degree of compaction consistent with good riding road surface, and effect various properties of bituminous mixture had on compaction; three types of rollers were used in seven different rolling sequences on six different contracts chosen to be representative of different mineral aggregates available in Ontario; results were analyzed by statistical techniques.
