Catchment area is 2575 acres; first portion of scheme constructed was pipe line, distance of 22 mi; tunnel is 808 yd long and ends in balancing tank; capacity of main is 5,600,000 gal per day; second portion of scheme consists of compensation reservoir formed by constructing dam below confluence of rivers Ryburn and Bogden; dam impounds 220,000,000 gal of water, and will provide 1,300,000 gal per day delivered as compensation water.
