Visual acuity and sodium-vapor light
Quantitative comparison of visual acuity under light from experimental sodium-vapor lamp and tungstenfilament lamp for range in brightness from 0.02 to 20 milli-lamberts; availability of sodium-vapor lamp enabled experiment to be conducted under normal seeing conditions; results may be interpreted fairly directly into lighting practice. (see also Elec World v 102 n 2 July 8 1933 p 61-2)
