Experience with Moll supports; difficulties experienced with roof of 3 1/4-3 3/4-ft seam; material is brittle slate clay, forming Trompeter zone 16 to 20 ft in height; satisfactory control of roof conditions effected by use of Moll system of curved steel supports; small saving in first cost and large saving in maintenance, compared with timber frames.
