Continuation from Tech Paper n 541; study at 7 mines in 3 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania; during period for which definite data were furnished, 12,142, 889 tons of coal were produced; 27 men killed underground, 23 of these from falls of roof or coal; 1584 lost-time injuries, of which 480 resulted from falls of roof or coal.
