Extension of Berlin underground
Opening of 1 1/2 mi new section in northwestern district; in view of high cost of steel, extension was constructed with tunnel section designed as complete reinforced concrete frame; permanent way is of ribbed plate type K, with rails laid in lengths of 15 m; three stations are about 360 ft long and 26 to 33 ft wide; data on signaling and current supply.
