Vibrations and stability of buckled panels
Small amplitude vibrations of rectangular panel relative to static buckled configuration and stability of that configuration are studied; static and dynamic equations of equilibrium are solved through perturbation expansion; stability of buckled configurations is investigated by studying real and imaginary character of frequency of vibration about these configurations, from which lower bound to secondary buckling load is established.
