Free Large Vibrations of Buckled Laminated Plates
Abstract Fundamental works concerning the vibrations of pre-buckled structures are dating back to Mettler [1] and Eisley [2]. Nonlinear forced oscillations of buckled beams are studied in [3] and detailed finite element analysis of buckled plate vibrations is performed in Yang and Han[4]. Internal resonance phenomena are treated in Tien and Namachchivaya [5], [6], and nonlinear random vibrations of thermally buckled skew plates are analyzed by Heuer et al. [7].
