Theoretical and experimental design of pipeline rope bridge
Pipe line rope bridge crossing river Labe in Czechoslovakia is first ever built and erected by Kralovopolska strojirna-Chemical Engineering Works; while "as made" project design of pipe line rope bridge was prepared, new static load arrangement theory suitable for this type of bridge was advanced; simultaneously, measurements were made on model, which confirmed soundness of derived theory and provided solution for load condition problems that could not be solved theoretically; erection procedure and maintenance of geometrical shape were also ascertained on model.
