Veterans' Memorial Bridge in Rochester, N.Y., built in Roman tradition, with semi-circular arches and granite facing; main arch of 300-ft span with each arch rib on separate foundation; arch constructed on five-hinge steel centers; steel centers erected by cantilevering progressively from abutements; utilizing cable tiebacks.
