Model test of hyperbolic paraboloid footing
Actual load test conducted on small hyperbolic paraboloid footing; footing was 4 ft 6 in. × 4 ft 6 in. with rise of 1 ft; it was 2 in. thick with reinforcement of 1/4 in. diam bars 4 in. on centers, both ways; test was carried to destruction which occurred at load of 26 tons.
