Outdoor air psychrometric criteria for summer ventilation of protective shelters
Based on adiabatic wall model shelter, ventilation rate required to maintain shelter effective temperature of 85 has been determined for cities of Houston, Tex, Phoenix, Ariz, and Minneapolis, Minn, using published values of coincident outdoor dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures; ventilation adequacy factor concept was developed which can be used to determine ventilation rate required in any locality for which suitable coincident weather data are available.
