Outdoor air psychrometric criteria for summer ventilation of protective shelters
Temperature and humidity conditions of shelters in terms of effective temperature, per capita ventilation, and ventilation air conditions are analyzed; various outdoor psychrometric criteria for shelter ventilation for maintaining suitable level of indoor effective temperature are examined; based on adiabatic wall model shelter, ventilation rate required to maintain shelter effective temperature of 85 F is determined, using published values of coincident outdoor dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures.
