A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Seven-span prestressed concrete twin viaduct with longitudinal slope of 3.56% is 256 m long, of which 70.6 m form clothoid arc with radius varying from infinity to 500 m, and 185.4 m form circular arc with 500 m radius; each of twin independent decks supported on common piers carries 7 m wide roadway flanked by 0.75 m marginal strips and guard rails; entire section of 500 m curvature radius has uniform transverse slope of 6%; launching of 36 m long 2.2 m high prefabricated beams, joints of curved beams, and construction operations are described.
