Stability of rubble mound breakwaters against irregular waves
At River and Harbour Research Laboratory at Technical University of Norway new wave channel has been equipped with programmed wave generator which can produce irregular waves with any wanted wave spectrum; model tests of stability of rubble mound breakwaters against irregular waves as compared with regular waves; tests have indicated relation between stability and run-up rather than apparent wave height, run-up being function of spectrum.
