Moment-curvature of beams as Ramberg-Osgood functions
Stress-strain relation of Ramberg-Osgood type across-beam section results in Ramberg-Osgood moment-curvature function for section; plastic section modulus is found to be important parameter for determining characteristic moment parameter; simple expressions are presented for finding moment-curvature parameters from stress-strain parameters of material, and from moment-curvature parameters of section; good agreement exists between these simple expressions and actual results.
