Statistical analysis of crack widths in reinforced concrete flexural members
Study comprises analysis of data obtained recently at Building Research Institute, Bucharest, and at Structural Materials Testing Laboratory of Technische Hochschule, Muenchen; by applying methods of correlation and regression analysis, significane of effects of crack spacing, concrete tensile strength and stress in reinforcement on crack width are determined; by comparing linear regressions established for crack widths measured at INCERNC and Muenchen, unified equations are constructed, as it is demonstrated that experimental results obtained on each two series of members belong to same statistical collectivity.
