Riveted and bolted jonts -- Fatigue of bolted structural connections
Behavior of bolted structural connections under repeated loadings is presented in synoptic form and related to "Specifications for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 Bolts"; consideration is given to behavior of joints assembled with bolts that are subjected to shear-type loadings and to direct tensile loadings; results for fatigue tests on joints assembled without hardened washers.
