Buckling of circular arches under nonuniform pressure
Problem of buckling of circular elastic arches is investigated; formulation of eigenvalue problem for computation of critical load; it is shown that equations are applicable to nonuniform pressure, provided that prebuckling deflections are small; description of how critical value of nonuniform load is obtained from known eigenvalues by supplementary computation is included.
