Illustrated description of second portion of scheme; Laggan dam is of gravity type, 130 ft high above river level and 700 ft long; Treig dam embodies impervious core wall, which forms watertight seal up to crest level; exposed dam is 380 ft long and 40 ft high, length of core wall at crest level is 675 ft and max depth 122 ft.
