Abrasion resistance of concrete terrazzo flooring tiles
Summary of tests conducted to study effect of cement content, and grading and type of aggregate, on abrasion resistance of concreteterrazzo flooring tiles; cement content (ordinary Portland) varied between 260 and 900 kg/m3, aggregate grading (fineness modulus) between 3.23 and 5.43, and its hardness (crushing value -- British Standards 812/1951) between 7.6 and 19.1%; abrasion vs cement for different types of aggregate and gradings is illustrated, based on results of tests carried out at 28 and 90 days on Boehme machine, in accordance with DIN 52108.
