Construction features of vehicular tunnel between Detroit and Windsor; completed tunnel will consist of single tube about one mile in length with outside diameter of 32 ft. and 22-ft. roadway, designed to carry one line of traffic in each direction; trench of 20 ft. bottom width is being dredged across river to depth of between 65 and 80 ft. below mean low water; 250-ft. long steel tubes of 3/8-in. plate will be sunk in trench.
