A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Barjot process is based on capacity of largo natural bodies of water to retain and store up during winter large amounts of heat; by causing one cubic meter of water to freeze as much energy may be given out as that contained in 22 lb. of coal; description is given of method of energy extraction, details of generating plant, and of advantages claimed for process. (see also translation in World Power, vol. 12, no. 69, Sept. 1929, pp. 217-220, 5 figs)
