In building B-section levee near Rosedale, Miss., discharge of dredge was run 3000 ft. down center of levee section and then back a like distance, through borrow pits, from which material of initial dikes had been taken; silt was sufficient to fill them with material which should make excellent blanket and reduce seepage through levee bank; features of 12-in. and 10-in. dredges used on job; description of 22,000-ft. steel-dredge pipe line.
