Purpose is to regulate flow of Bogota River, supplying water to "El Charquito" and "El Salto " hydroelectric plants of Bogota Electric Power Co; construction work was in two stages; with water level at 2606.50 m, storage capacity 18 million cu m; with water level at 2.610 m, storage capacity will be doubled; paper deals with 8 parts of construction job.
