Tensile tests of alloys undergoing transformation
In carrying out tensile tests on aluminum-copper-manganese and aluminum-copper-magnesium-manganese alloys, it was observed that load, instead of increasing in regular manner, rose by series of oscillations, whose amplitude was in certain cases as much as 4 per cent of total load.
