Wall built of precast units and cast-in-place concrete
Precast units were combined with cast in place ready mixed concrete to erect wall for Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners; after footings, spaced 10 ft apart, were built wall posts were concreted to footings and planks then inserted in slots; precast line posts were hollow units 12 × 12 in. in section and 12 in. high; planks were 12 in. in width, 1 1/2 in. thick, and 9 ft long, reinforced with two round 1/4 in. rods.
