Rock tunnel driving for hydroelectric plant tunnels; explosives loading ratio is 3 1/2 lb per cu yd which represents 150 lb of dynamite for each blast; blasts are fired from 8.82 to 9.65 ft; tunnel linings will require 103,000 cu yd of concrete; finished diam of tunnel will be 10 ft 1 1/4 in.
