Fire behavior and protection in hyperbaric chambers
Study of fire protection and fire safety aspects in hyperbaric chambers in which high pressures increase combustion rates and cause significant change in water distribution pattern from spary nozzles; series of tests were conducted at pressures of 1 to 4 atm, and effect of increasing pressure on burning rates of several fuels was determined; increase in burning rate is not linear function of increase in pressure for any of materials tested.
