Use of concrete for patching spalled areas in concrete roads
Patching is successful if clean vertical edges are cut out, joining surface is cleaned by sand blasting or by wire brush or hydrochloric acid; tables show condition and cracking of patches in laboratory tests and in roads after 2 1/4 yr of use; use of polyvinyl-acetate additive to increase adhesion.
