Hospital construction in winter weather
Because of severe winter weather brick and tile walls of several hospital buildings were built inside temporary enclosures; wall and roof panels consisted of tarpaulins nailed over light frame and their support required only very light framing along center of building; by adding salamanders inside enclosure and heating mortar, brick and tile, 96 buildings were built in 3 mo.
