Ultimate strength of reinforced concrete columns under biaxially eccentric loading
Systematic method is given for finding ultimate strength column cross section of any shape or reinforcement pattern under biaxially eccentric compression loading; analysis is based on assumption of linear strain distribution and on equations of static equilibrium; any desired stress strain relations may be used for steel and concrete, and effect of tensile strength of concrete may be included; results are expressed in form of contour lines of interaction surface for each cross section.
