Ultimate load design of reinforced concrete columns subjected to eccentric loading
Methods of designing reinforced concrete columns subjected to combined bending and axial load by ultimate strength theory are presented; rigorous method is proposed for computation of column strength using single equation for stress-strain curve of concrete; particular relevance of application of ultimate strength theory in field of column design is discussed.
