Design of three-bedroom houses is based on use of light steel structural frame with exterior cladding of glass fiber reinforced polyester panels; plastics panels were used to meet building regulations on fireproofing and spread of flame rating; use of reinforced polyester in prototype houses erected is confined to exterior wall cladding with house-height corner panels and story-height gable and infill panels; specifications of system house.
