590 ft long bridge on Montreal-Ste Adele highway has 300 ft long central span and 150 ft long lateral spans; its deck is formed by 23 ft wide prestressed concrete continuous box girder of varying height supported by two abutments and three hollow rectangular columns 26×6 ft, central columns being 55 ft and 65 ft high; cantilever method of construction was used, starting from springers of central columns and progressing towards span center by means of movable scaffolding.
