Bridge 38.8m long, crossing River Glatt near Zurich, Switzerland; roadway is 5.5 m wide, flanked by two 1.5 m footpaths; deck is solid slab 15 cm thick; carried on two inverted trestles, legs of which divide length of bridge into three spans of 7.9-23-7.9m, and bear on foundations; foundations themselves are 31m apart; they rest on sandstone 6 m below road level.
