New bridge completed in 1964 consists of fixed arch made of four ribs each having span of 305 m; at each bank there are four approach spans each 30 m; each rib is hollow rectangular box girder 6 m wide composed of prefabricated units mounted progressively and symmetrically from abutment to crown; ribs were built consecutively and falsework was reused four times; Freyssinet flat jacks method was used in construction.
